E316L-16 is suitable for welding equipment with synthetic fibers or urea, as well as similar stainless steel structures. It can also be used to weld structures that cannot be PWHT's chromium stainless steel category, and can also be used to weld dissimilar and laminated steels. Weld metal has good resistance to corrosion, heat and crack defects.
